R&G Academy is R&G Global Consultants’ training institute. The academy provides training in all methodologies and concepts used by R&G Global Consultants varying from Change Management and Business Process Excellence Leadership training, to Outside-In and Lean Six Sigma.

R&G Academy has extensive experience in the training and practical application of improvement trajectories in a variety of domains. Examples include: financial services, industrial services, supply chain management and the manufacturing industry.

R&G Academy is the only academy in the world licensed to offer the complete General Electric Lean Six Sigma and Change Management course material.

R&G has delivered more than 200 training sessions and trained around 2500 participants. 82% of the participants rate the training as good or excellent. In 90%+ of the cases, the training forms part of an overall Operational Excellence program where R&G is involved to deliver results together.

Our core belief is that training only generates value if the participants apply the methodologies to improvement projects. Applying what you learn stimulates the real learning. In order to makes this even more effective, we can customize the training to your needs in terms of content, duration and setup. R&G provides training on two dimensions, both essential for delivering results. Methodologies to improve processes and Acceptance & Accountability training to influence desired results.

We offer open-enrollment schemes for the core of our training programs. Furthermore all of our programs can be provided through in-house training with a program tailored specifically for your company. Finally we offer train-the-trainer programs.

Black Belt Training

Your ambition is to become a dedicated process improvement project leader. And the way you to want to get there is action-driven, focused on learning by doing. This training module will provide you the basic for becoming the project leader you want to develop into by working for 16 training days (4 blocks of 4 days) together with max. 10 people. The focus of this training is to provide you the methodology and tools of process improvement and in a parallel process give you the opportunity to work on your actual project. This whole cycle will takes 4-5 months.

Green Belt Training

You have heard about process improvement LSS and you want to find out more about it. You have the ambition to do a (small) project by yourself or you will be participating in a project, but you also want to remain in your current role/ position. This training module will give you all the highlights of the methodology and tools of process improvement. We will go into more detail on some specific (selected) topics by working for 3-5 training days (in 2 blocks) together with 15 participants. This whole cycle will takes 2 – 3 months.

Lean Six Sigma champion training

A leadership training for champions and process owners to gain an overall view of Lean Six Sigma, change management and their importance of their role. Typically, this training is tailored to the specific business needs and processes. The outcome of this training is to energize the leaders to actively lead the improvement programs and gain sufficient understanding to participate in these programs.

Lean training

Your ambition is to become a Lean practitioner or you want to learn more about how Lean and implementing the basics of reducing waste can support your daily activities/ processes. This training module will provide you the basics of Lean and the ability to implement what you learn directly into your daily activities/ processes. We will work together for 2 – 4 days with max. 10 (operational) people and use your actual processes as the starting point. The focus of this training is to provide you with the basic philosophy and concepts of Lean, and with the immediate translation for your daily processes.

DFSS training

Your ambition is to become a process development project leader to develop new processes. And the way you want to get there is action-driven, focused on learning by doing. This training module will provide you the basics for becoming the project leader you want to develop into by working for 6 training days (3 blocks of 2 days) together with max. 10 people. The focus of this training is to provide you the methodology and tools of a customer-focused data-driven approach to introduce new products, services or process capabilities into an organisation. This whole cycle takes 4 to 6 months.

Soft skills management skills

You have the ambition to become a real change manager in your organisation and to create the conditions for sustainable change. Next to your technical skills you want to develop your personal soft skills to facilitate and accelerate required change in the organisation. This training module will provide you with an understanding of which of your skills need more development to become a successful change manager, and it will provide on the job learning/ training to develop these skills. The number of days and the duration of this module will be defined and customized during our orientation appointment.

Action work out training

As a leader you have the ambition to stimulate employee’s involvement in your change processes. This training module will provide your operational team (and yourself) with the methodology and tools to solve daily issues (more) autonomously. Our training will focus on your most important operational challenges on the job together with your team for 3 – 5 days by selecting and preparing this challenge together with you.
