The essential element is to understand where the information flow (from customer & internal) and the material flow are out of sync. This is where the unnecessary cash will be taken. Our approach to improvement is to align these two aspect to free up cash. The first step in our approach is to understand which processes are consuming most of the working capital/cash. The next phase will focus on improving the transactional/physical processes to release the cash and make it sustainable.
